The 13th annual Joe Beasley Memorial Singing was called to order by

Henry Schuman explained the order of singing for the day. First, the class would sing from The Sacred Harp, 1991 edition; second from The B. F. White Sacred Harp (Cooper Book), 2006 Revision; third from The Christian Harmony ('Alabama book', Deason-Parris revision, 2002 printing); fourth from The Primitive Hymns: Spiritual Songs and Sacred Poems (Lloyd's); and last from New Harp of Columbia, Restored Edition, 2001.
