For the second year, the singing was sponsored by the Advent Spirituality Center. The singing used The Christian Harmony (‘Carolina book’, 1873 facsimile, 1994 reprint).
Opening remarks were given by Karen Reed, organizer. Jerry Jarrell, of Mars Hill, began with a prayer taken from the Robinson hymn "Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing"; then led a singing school.
