Minutes, Middle Creek United Methodist Church singing, Pigeon Forge TN, Sunday, May first, 2022. David Sarten noted that the congregation goes back to the end of the 1700s, and that the church was founded on an early 19th century Methodist campground where Francis Asbury once preached. The present building dates from 1902, the present singing from its centenary in 2002. We had 14 singers today (6 leads, 2 basses, 3 altos, 3 trebles).
