The Bill Green Memorial Baldwin County Sacred Harp Convention was held
at Galilee Primitive Baptist Church on the fourth weekend in
January. The class was called to order by Mary Amelia Taylor leading

She gave a warm welcome to all in attendance and led

who were faithful for many years to attend the singing.

lesson. Stanley Smith read the names of the sick and shut-ins as

Smith spoke of the community that binds singers together, and
the generations of singers who sustained this singing and others for
decades.

Ken described his father's final days and the comfort that Sacred Harp
