The 27th session of the Capitol City Shape Note Singing was called to order by Bill Hogan leading 101t, Canaan's Land.
Joey Brackner, Alabama Center for Traditional Culture, welcomed everyone to the singing. Bill Hogan led 36b, Ninety-Fifth.
The morning prayer was offered by Tommie Spurlock.
