Ruth Steggles: b. ????, d. 2016

From David Sutherland's initial notice of her death: Ruth (Cooper) Steggles was a tireless worker for folk music organising the Robin Hood Folk Club in various parts of Nottingham for over forty years and prior to that she was involved with The Rising Sun in Catford. She was also a leading light in the promotion of Shape Note hymn singing in the East Midlands and much further afield.
