Minutes of the singing Sunday, July 16th, 2017 at the Little Greenbrier School near Metcalf Bottoms in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Singing schools were held every September, after the harvest was in. Built in 1882, the schoolhouse was last in use as a school building in 1936, but is extremely well preserved and is a wonderful singing space. Today we had 19 singers, 5 leads in the (liturgical) east facing 3 altos, 6 trebles in the south facing 5 basses.
