Minutes of the annual Tuckaleechee United Methodist Church singing, in Townsend, Blount Co. Tennessee, Sunday, April 18th, 2021. For many of us (including Kathleen and me) this was our first singing in well over than a year. We had about 22 singers. Afterwards Kathleen told “Puss in Boots” to the kids of all ages, outside the church building. We sang without masks or social distancing (neither of which would have been possible). We didn’t ask about immunization, but I think most of us had been immunized, because of our advanced age. This is the singing that John Wright Dunn, Charlie Clabough and Burl Adams led for many years. Tom Taylor told us the rather complex history of this very old singing.
