Minutes of the annual singing in the Robert F. Thomas Chapel at Dollywood, Sunday October 16th, 2016. The chapel was built there in 1973 by late singer Reford Laymons and his brother Wiley. It was named after Dr. Robert F. Thomas, the indefatigable Sevier County physician who assisted Dolly Parton into the world in 1946. We had 10 leads, 5 altos, 4 trebles, and 3 basses. Leads were in the liturgical east, facing the altos in the pews on the north. Basses in the north faced the trebles. About 15 people were in the audience at any one time.
