Someone at the singing asked me about the provenance of 40 Aurora or 129T Dublin. According to Marion Hatchett, both texts are by Isaac Watts.

M.L. Swan claims Aurora, but it's a folk tune. SH 43 is to a similar tune called Primrose.

Dublin has an uncertain attribution to George Kirby (died 1634). An identical tune appears in Christian Harmony 2010, but is called Coleshill.
