Etowah Baptist Church
Etowah, Henderson County, North Carolina
Saturday, May 18, 2013
Selections were from The Christian Harmony (‘Carolina book’, 1873 facsimile, 1994 reprint),
and from The Christian Harmony, 2010 edition (songs tagged with '2010'),
plus one handout.
Don Wiley welcomed the singers,
and Scott Swanton offered the Opening Prayer.
Don Wiley then opened the singing with 21, Webster.
Decided: The Etowah Singing has long been a two-book singing. We will use The Christian Harmony 1873 edition (Carolina Book) and the 2010 edition.
Decided: Discussions will begin on reprinting the Carolina Book.
Decided: Scott Swanton was re-elected president of the singing. Other officers remain the same.
