Closing prayer, John Plunkett

A very kind thank-you to Rutherford County Historical Society, for the use of the building, and to Dot Lane and Jane Spencer for making the arrangements. A basket was passed for donations. A bit after dinner, there were 53 singers, and a few had left at dinner. To get through the list of leaders, we sang until almost four o'clock.
The weather was bright, but cold: it had been in the twenties the night before.
