The singing opened with class singing 96, 46t, 21, 49. Tim Cook offered prayer and led 322, 125b. Leaders: Ruth Wyers 124, 253; Ola Meadows 105b, 163t; Dr. Robert DuPree 157, 293; Jeff James 8, 148; Jay Robbins 78b, 225b; Billy Thompson 128t, 117; Mako Cook 70b, 184; Louise Crunk and Tim Cook 248. The class sang 175, 226t before breaking.
The congregation of China Grove Methodist Church prepared a bounteous dinner, for which Tim Cook offered prayer.
Billy Williams called the class back to order directing 281b. Leaders: Dawson Dockery 171, 128b; Ruth Wyers 107, 84; Harvey Dockery 117. Harvey Dockery called the Memorial Session to order. Those who have passed away in the intervening year are Otis Tucker and Bessie Muntz. Harvey Dockery directed 184 in their memory. Memorial Session closed. The class resumed with the following leaders: Ola Meadows 92, 135, 31t; Tim Cook 287 (by request), 193b, 30b; Harvey Dockery 179; Jeff James 109, 170, 180; Mako Cook 168; Louise Crunk and Dawson Dockery 248.
