About this singing space
This building, originally St. John's Episcopal Church, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, was completed in 1847, and is the oldest church building in the county still standing. The church moved on many years ago, and the local historical assocation owned it for many years. They sold it in the 2010s.
For singing, Old St. John's was a building of the highest reputation. Singers routinely traveled from Europe to sing in it.
