• DIRECTIONS:
  New (shorter) route from Atlanta - From I-75, take the (2nd) Forsyth exit/Hwy 83 and turn right. Stay on this road (it will become State Route 42 after you go through Forsyth), until you get to US341. Turn left, go to the 2nd red light in Roberta and turn left, then turn right onto S. Mathews Street.
  Old directions: From Atlanta -I-75 South to I-475 South. Turn right/west onto Hwy 80W (Eisenhower Parkway) to Roberta. Or, from Macon, take Hwy 80W to Roberta. In Roberta, turn left/south on N. Mathews Street. It becomes S. Mathews Street when you cross over Agency Street.
  The Civic Center, which is actually an old wooden church, is located at 93 South Mathews Street, just south of the old part of the town, next to the recycling center. South Mathews is one block east of Highway 341.

• Saturday night is a Christian Harmony (2010) singing at the home of John and Elsie Hollingsworth in Ila, GA (among the best you may hope to find, IMHO.... 7-9pm+: covered dish supper at 6);
• on Sunday, in Athens, GA, at the Botanical Garden, a morning session from the Social Harp (loaners available), in the PM from the Red Book SH (10-3; DoG).

• We are having a shape-note sing Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, NC led by Dr. Will Peebles of WCU. We are hosting this and opening it up to the community/region as a celebration of our 200th year as a church here in the Hominy Valley.
• We will begin the sing at 3 pm, break for a covered-dish supper at 5 pm, then sing after dinner until about 7 pm.
  Child care is provided for infants through grade 5, although older children are encouraged to attend all or part of the sing with their families.
