21st Rotunda Singing

The 21st annual session of the Rotunda Singing was held in the foyer of the Department of Archives and History, Montgomery, Alabama. Four songbooks were used: The Colored Sacred Harp; The B. F. White Sacred Harp (Cooper Book), 2012 Revision; The Christian Harmony, 2010 edition; and The Sacred Harp, 1991 edition.

The class sang 87, Sweet Canaan.
Bill Hogan welcomed the class and visitors. He introduced Joey Brackner, of the Alabama State Arts Council, and Scott Kirkland, who offered words of welcome and encouraged the singers to enjoy the exhibit of photographs by Johnathon Kelso. Bill Hogan led 36b, Ninety-Fifth.
Arlon Gardner offered the opening prayer.
